Ingredients of Cilantro Hummus

  1. Prepare 1 cup of chickpeas, cooked.
  2. You need 3 tbsp of olive oil, extra virgin.
  3. You need 2 tbsp of water.
  4. You need 1 1/2 tbsp of fresh lemon juice.
  5. It’s 1 tsp of salt.
  6. Take 1/2 tsp of ground black pepper.
  7. Take 1/4 cup of fresh cilantro, packed.
  8. It’s 1 of garlic, minced.
  9. You need of cayenne pepper.

Cilantro Hummus step by step

  1. In a high power blender add below ingredients..
  2. Blend ingredients well together until smooth in texture..
  3. Transfer cilantro hummus into bowl and sprinkle on a little cayenne pepper. Refrigerate for 20 minutes to allow flavors and hummus to congeal..
  4. Serve your hummus with your favorite tortilla or pita chips; or as I did, on some toasted French bread!.
